MAJOR DOWNTOWN BUS STOP RELOCATION ANNOUNCEMENT

In coordination with Mayo Clinic, the City of Rochester, and Rochester Public Transit, effective Monday, June 18, 2018 Rochester City Lines will be relocating ALL DOWNTOWN COMMUTER BUS ACTIVITY. All bus loading and unloading will be moved to 1st Street Southwest between 4th and 6th Avenues. In relation to the Mayo Clinic campus, this is west of the Gonda building, behind the Ozmun Building and near the Ozmun Ramp and St. Johns Church.

What routes does this affect?

All Rochester City Lines regional routes are being relocated.

When will this change be taking place?

Commuter operations will change effective Monday, June 18, 2018 and last until further notice.

Why is this being done?

Bus activity is being disrupted by the City of Rochester’s reconstruction of 4th Street southwest from 1st Ave SW to 6th Ave SW. The roadway will be completely closed to all traffic, meaning buses cannot turn onto or off of 4th Street SW.

How long will this last?

The construction project is expected to last the full duration of the 2018 construction season. RCL will provide progress updates and further information as needed.
